Are online slots/sweeps legit?

Looking for a way to make a few hundred a month (to avoid getting a roommate) with low effort. I’ve been seeing things for a while about people gaming the online slots/sweeps. Are these real? I’ve signed up for some slots (from referral links) and my gut tells me that farming referrals is how people actually make money. But if I’m not farming referrals, just putting in the “20 minutes a day” getting daily drops, can I actually make real, as in “ends up in my bank account” money?

I hate gambling, so no risk of getting sucked in. Just wondering if this is actually legit.

It’s legit, yes.

If you are not willing to put any money in, then it will be slow at first since you need to build up to the minimum withdrawal amount.

If you are willing to put money in, the initial offers are the best and you can easily churn through those quickly for some easy money.

@Blake
I’ve noticed that many of the sites have some kind of initial “invest $10, get 20 coin” type offers. I’d be willing to throw $10 in the ring if it means I’ll likely get it back. I’m a very routine person, so the slow burn/patience part of making $$ is no issue.

@Ashby
On most of the sites, you can guarantee that you win back a certain percentage so you’ll profit for sure each time.

Check out r/sweepstakessidehustle. Lots of good advice and strategies there.

Just as a disclaimer, if you use the links they provide, they do get rewarded for it.

@Nevan
I don’t think I’ve ever seen him promote a sale that isn’t good.

But… it has all the info there… you don’t have to click his links. Just Google the name of each site and do it on your own.

@Nevan
That depends on your approach with taxes.

That’s correct.

I’m a heavy sports bettor, so I’m already itemizing.

Oh hell yeah! No worries for you then mate! Damn that makes things simple!
