Yes, please share the link if you don’t mind.

Get your paychecks to make you money! Look into r/churning. You basically sign up for checking accounts solely for the bonus. Doesn’t affect your credit score and you can close your accounts solely after receiving your bonus. Most only ask for a $500 direct deposit to get on average $200-$300.

How good of a head do you have for heights and ladders? This is the perfect time to start advertising for Christmas light installation, gutter cleaning, and eventually light removal.

I don’t have many ideas about how to go about advertising that, but people do it quite profitably in some areas.

Other seasonal jobs to look into – Christmas tree farm, mail-order fulfillment center, UPS/Fedex/USPS delivery. Many of those businesses are looking to hire 25% more employees from now through January.

If you have a large local network of friends, family, and church members, spread the word that you’re looking for work during this time, and give some indication of what you can or are willing to do. Think of any home-improvement/repair projects that you’ve done on your own that you enjoy, and ask around if anyone else needs the same thing done. Same for basic car maintenance or repairs, such as brake replacements, oil changes, and coolant flushes.

You are currently doing pretty well for yourself. I feel blogging would be a flexible option to work on if your working schedule isn’t too bad and you can monetize it using Hydro online to earn revenue.

@Zoren
It does seem like I’m doing well on paper, but I am the sole earner in my relationship while we wait for my partner’s immigration stuff to be processed (yippie for government admin processing times…) Our rent is $899 a month split (so we’re partially rent burdened) between our assorted roommates, and I don’t have any savings to speak of, because I’ve put myself through undergrad and graduate school. Its a dicey financial tightrope walk for sure, I feel like I’ve been treading water best I can so far, but it continues to be a balancing act… Blogging is an idea, but I’m not sure if I could gain traction with that fast enough for what my financial needs will be even with 2 months of lead in.
