Hi, a little about myself: I’m a freshman in college majoring in psychology, which I’m very passionate about. My tuition is fully paid by financial aid, so I don’t have any immediate financial needs, but I want to be prepared for the future. I looked into digital marketing and found ads for someone named Rene Lacad, who offers a program for $471 with 1-on-1 coaching. However, I felt uncertain after reading a Reddit thread with complaints about people being scammed or dissatisfied with his course, along with additional fees ranging from $800-$1,200. I’m glad I did my research before spending my aid refund. Now I’m feeling lost and unsure where to turn. A physical job might not be feasible due to my full-time college schedule, which includes studying, homework, chores, and sleep. I have a few hundred dollars from my aid refund and would like to make more out of that to create passive income. I’d love any advice, tips, tricks, or resources you can share. Thank you for reading this! (For context, my parents didn’t allow me to work while in school, so I want to gain some independence.)

Can you give an example?
I help build and manage Etsy stores for individuals/investors. We usually hit $1-$3k each month within a couple of months. We do have a one-time fee, but I know someone who manages Etsy stores in exchange for a profit split each month. He charges nothing, so I could connect you with him if you’d like.

To start, learn to write in paragraphs. Communication is key. It will be hard to get work if you write like this; most people won’t read it. Your best bet while in college is to get a regular part-time job. There’s no need to pay for expensive courses. You can find plenty of great Udemy courses for as little as $10, and there’s lots of free stuff on YouTube and courses on sites like Coursera.
Are you able to perform market research? You can test products, product changes, websites, new apps, advertisements, and more during product development. Here’s a step-by-step write-up of the process: https://www.reddit.com/r/OnlineIncomeHustle/comments/1ewda9j/market_research_strategy_explained/. This takes time and effort, but $500 a month is entirely doable; I do it every month.
If you’re good at writing, consider starting a blog about topics you enjoy. You can monetize your content with Hydro online and earn revenue.
I use Emberfund to earn passively. I’m getting around $50 a month, but you can earn $10 monthly easily. It’s an app that mines for crypto in the cloud, so it doesn’t use your CPU or electricity. No personal info or deposit is required. Use my referral code: MNGGPVDNUKH. If you join under my referral, we both get an increased mining rate. Feel free to message me with any questions.
