You won’t become wealthy overnight, but there are opportunities to be found. I’m sure there’s something you’re interested in or knowledgeable about that you could resell.
Concerned about the catch? There are a few, but it seems like you might be in a good position to handle them.
First is the money to start. Check out the other comments here for ideas. You can begin with any amount of money if you’re willing to put in the effort. Seriously, I sold something yesterday that I bought for $1. It happens all the time.
Second is time. You might purchase something for $5 that you know will sell for $10, but you’ll have to wait. Meanwhile, that $5 is tied up in items sitting on a shelf. Not everyone has the patience for that.
Third is overall returns. Also known as “Why doesn’t everyone do this?” From my experience, it’s because people don’t want to spend time researching and listing something that will only make them $5. And that’s understandable, especially for just one item. You need to think about it on a larger scale. It makes more sense if you have multiple items coming in and going out, if you set up a little system. You don’t need anything fancy.
