hi To sign up and get approved on the Turo car rental marketplace, visit their website and create an account using your email address, Facebook, Google, or Apple ID. During signup, you’ll need to provide your driver’s license info and other details. Turo will then verify your information to approve your ability to drive.

The process of picking up the car can vary based on the host. You might meet the host directly or opt for a contactless pick-up. Detailed instructions will be provided by Turo within their app. During the pick-up, the host will likely inspect the car with you and discuss any important details.

I used it once last year on a trip when my favorite rental company was completely out of vehicles.
Unfortunately, what made me angry was the fact that you won’t get any protection from your personal auto insurance or credit card coverage, so I was forced to buy one of their insurance policies, which are priced on tiers as a percentage of the cost of the rental.

The Terms of Service contain exact wording. After reading it, you’ll rent from an agency.

My advice is don’t. Doesn’t really matter if you take photos or not. If the host claims you damaged their vehicle, you pay for it, even if it’s days after your trip ended. If you must use turo and you just signed up, my advice is to opt out of their arbitration clause. You have 30 days to do so.
