How to Make $5k Over a Few Months

Hello,
20F, living in a third-world country where $10k is hard to earn (minimum wage $150/month).
I come from an abusive household, and I need the amount to move out of here ASAP without letting my parents know until the last minute (as again, abusive, and they won’t allow me to study further).

I am posting here to ask if anyone knows any remote opportunities that will hire in South Asia? I have been applying to scholarships and jobs and everything, but all of this needs at least a little bit of amount with me.

I am looking for legit jobs like data annotation (but they never get back to me) or anything such. I’d appreciate any help as I will lose myself being in such an environment.

A bit of an ambitious goal. What value can you generate for $5k? People recommending Fiverr, etc., probably have no idea what they are talking about; with the amount of competition, it isn’t easy for new members to land gigs. It would take some time to build a reputation. What skills do you have?

Find a way to be an Au Pair in the US for a while to get some money, and more importantly, a better environment. Save up and then go wherever you want.

How can one do the Au Pair thing? Any legit websites I can check out?

There are quite a few of them. I haven’t used any, but for protection on both sides, an agency is preferred. There are rights the au pair has that most people who want one don’t know about. Like you’re actually only supposed to do stuff that relates to the children of who hires you, and they need to provide you with access to transportation, even if it’s public transportation. There are maximum hours a day and a week. Required vacation every year, etc.

Personally, I would love to have one outside of an agency if I was just a little better off. I’m not a piece of shit, so I wouldn’t take advantage. I would just want more stuff done outside of the limits of an agency.

You can find work as a virtual assistant. Are you familiar with basic WordPress and computer tasks? Do you have any specific skills?

Yes. I’ve worked as one before. I just can’t find roles for it now. The ones I see are $200/month, which would take me forever to reach my goal.
