I'm a Side Hustler - What Else Should I Consider?

I wanted to share some of the side hustles I manage within my business.

I believe in having multiple income streams.

Having various ways to earn keeps me engaged. I really enjoy it, and it helps stabilize my income. If I lose a freelance client, I still have other income sources to rely on.

Digital publishing is my main focus. I do online writing for my personal brand and for clients. This includes publishing on platforms like Medium and Newsbreak, as well as some paid guest posts and sponsorships.

Digital marketing is one of my newer income streams. I’ve been at it for 8 months and started earning a full-time income in my second month, though everyone’s journey is different.

Affiliate marketing is a passive income source for me. I refer products, and when someone buys through my link, I earn a commission.

Initially, I was earning $2 to $5 per affiliate commission. Now, I’ve shifted to high-ticket affiliate marketing, earning between $100 and $1,400 per commission. At one point, I was making $1,800 to $2,500 a week with this.

It took years to develop this high-income skill, and right now, it’s a part-time endeavor for me.

I also create and sell digital products, promoting them through a faceless social media account, which I call faceless digital marketing.

Website flipping involves building, growing, and flipping websites. My last project required just a $12 investment to create the site, and I plan to sell it for about $350. These are small content sites like blogs.

They’re fairly easy to build and can be sold without needing traffic or income.

I’ve made six figures from this side hustle while working part-time. I build small and large sites without coding, and I teach others how to do it too.

Content creation involves social media work, which can include user-generated content (UGC) or paid brand deals. I’m currently working on two campaigns, including a recent retainer deal with a publisher.

I also have smaller side hustles that I try out throughout the year, but these are my main income streams.

What do you do?

Has anyone else done any of these?

Is there anything interesting I should consider adding to my list?

Can you share more details?

Sure.

For digital publishing, I write articles and blogs for my personal brand and for clients who hire me. This includes online magazines and publishers of all sizes. I charge by project or pay per word.

For digital marketing, this was the quickest side hustle for me to start. I began making money within a few days. In my first week, I earned over $1,000.

I purchased a course to learn this skill and then started selling digital products using the marketing skills I’ve gained.

Since learning this, I’ve had other opportunities come my way, such as brand deals and a job offer for a potential social media manager role.

As for affiliate marketing, it took me the longest to master. Gaining visibility for my content to convert sales can take time, but I’ve learned shortcuts over the years. This has become my most passive income source.

Website flipping lets me get creative. I flip both large and small sites, earning between $3,000 and $5,000 each. I teach this in a course, eBook, and mastermind group. Most of my current projects are small starter sites that attract various buyers. I don’t do any coding; I’m not a web developer. I started this by accident.

For content creation, this is the easiest money for me. I have a presence on several social platforms like TikTok, Threads, Pinterest, etc., where I connect with brands. They either reach out to me or I contact them, and they pay me to promote their products. For instance, I have over 95K followers on TikTok and nearly 30K on Pinterest. You don’t need to have tens of thousands of followers to earn from this.

If you have specific questions, feel free to ask.

@Ari
Can you share more about those affiliate shortcuts?

Are you interested in crowdfunding?

@Ari
For website flipping, do you find clients first, then build the site? Can you explain that a bit more?

@Ari
Do you have any tips for getting started with digital marketing?

That’s really impressive; you’re doing great with all those side hustles. Website flipping sounds intriguing. How much time were you putting into it each week when you were making six figures? Have you ever tried print on demand? I’ve heard of people making a lot selling custom merchandise. Just curious about your thoughts.

@Nash
Thanks, I appreciate it! Website flipping is really interesting. I just flipped four sites last month and I’m working on more this month. I don’t do it consistently, so it’s hard to estimate how much time I spend.

Each site takes a few hours to create.

I tried print on demand, but I found that the marketing was the missing piece for me. My designs were okay, but not attractive enough to sell without effective marketing.

What kinds of side hustles have you tried?

Do you have any money to invest?

Check this out. :blush::muscle:

I’m interested in affiliate marketing. How can I get started with that?

What are some low-ticket and high-ticket items you’re referring to?

What are some low-ticket and high-ticket items you’re referring to?

For affiliate marketing…

First, choose a niche.

Then, pick some offers. You can find them on company websites or through affiliate networks that list various programs to apply for easily.

After that, promote the affiliate offers.

I focus on organic promotion, avoiding ads. I mainly do blogging with a bit of social media mixed in. You can find what works best for you.

Some of the low-ticket offers I’ve promoted are survey opportunities that pay $3 to $5 each, with some going up to $15 each. The high-ticket items vary. I was part of the Legendary Marketer program that paid four figures per conversion, but I’ve shifted away from that one.

Alkimi is what you need.

Do you have any resources for these, especially affiliate and digital marketing?

Can you give me more tips on how to get started?

I’d love to learn more about digital marketing. It’s always fascinated me, but I haven’t really looked into it before. What better time than now?
