If you need a few bucks and have some extra time, I find that gig work is helpful. Gigs can range in duty and pay, like going to a store and doing some merchandising, taking pictures of aisles at a store, taking pics of things for insurance, testing a product, working a shift for an event… Pay can be $5-$20+ per gig or be hourly if it’s a shift.
These are the apps I’ve used, but there are more with more opportunities. Some people strictly take pictures and do audits for insurance and those are on websites.
Ok. The apps I use are:
Observa
Merchandiser
Field Agent
Clickworker
Premise
Mobee
GetGigs
GigWalk
Ivueit
Dscout
Workwhile
They are fun for me because I have freedom, work alone, and get to be moving around to different locations. I mostly used Observa and Mobee in my area, but I hear that other cities have most work on Field Agent and the other apps have stuff too. I’m just in a smaller town right now. In larger cities, there are more opportunities.
Also, there are the basic delivery and rideshare apps too.
I’m about to go make some money off this post tonight! Thanks for sharing, I never thought about secret shopping, but I’ve got 50+ dollars in gigs near me on 4 different apps in the like 3 closest towns to me, so this is going to be awesome!
@Sky
Oh, nice! I hope you have some fun with it too! I found it fun being out and about doing the different things. I never did secret shopping though, but maybe you’re calling some of the audits ‘secret shopping’?

How’s Field Agent now? I joined long, long ago and haven’t used them much.
I can’t answer this. I downloaded it because people kept talking about it in an online group. They all get a lot of gigs from it; there are no gigs near me, so I never used it. And it’s opposite for me; I have a lot of Observa stuff near me, and they have none.

If you don’t mind sharing where you’re located? I’m in CT; I’m also in a small town.
I’m down in the Midwest. The only app I have that I’ve noticed any competition with is Ivueit. Someone picks those up fast af. It’s free to download the apps, and the maps in the apps show what available audits or gigs are around you.
