What are some good income ideas for stay-at-home moms

I’m a stay-at-home mom with two young kids, and I’ve been thinking about ways I can contribute financially without having to leave the house. I’d love to hear some suggestions on things I could do for income from home. I’ve got experience in basic computer skills, I’m pretty good at organizing, and I can dedicate a few hours each day while the kids nap or after bedtime. I’m open to almost anything, but it would be great if it could fit around my family’s schedule. Any ideas or personal experiences would be super helpful.

Being a stay-at-home mom is already a full-time job, but it’s great that you want to find ways to earn some extra cash. There are many options, like freelancing or e-commerce. What skills do you have or what are you passionate about? You could turn your talents into a side hustle. If you write well, freelance writing could be a good fit. If you’re crafty, you could sell handmade items on Etsy. There are also platforms that connect businesses with virtual assistants, which offers flexibility. Explore different ideas to see what fits your schedule.

Finding something that matches your skills is key. Balancing what you enjoy with earning potential can be tricky. Freelancing and e-commerce can be unpredictable, but they offer flexibility. Just keep trying different things until something works for you.

I’m confused by this forum. There’s helpful info here, but why are people suggesting non-passive income options in a passive income thread? This seems to happen a lot.

Maybe because these options can eventually lead to passive income. Many people don’t have money to invest upfront, so starting with non-passive options can be necessary.

I earn a few thousand a year from bank account and credit card sign-up bonuses. I also save a few hundred a year using coupon apps for online shopping.

Kudos for thinking about extra income. You might want to check out r/beermoney for more ideas.

I think stay-at-home parents should focus on cutting household expenses instead of trying to earn extra income. A dollar saved is a dollar earned, and it’s not taxed.

They can do both—save money and seek extra income. Don’t jump to conclusions. But that’s a good tip.

It can be a very profitable path for some. People often think it’s only about adult content, but many stand-up comedians use it without showing anything explicit.

Consider reselling digital services. I’m a stay-at-home dad and growing my agency. Check out r/dropservicing.

You can work with local service businesses like plumbing or cleaning and see if you can answer their phones for them.

Joining DePIN projects might work well for you. For instance, you can farm Xeno and Grass at home with just a phone and Wi-Fi. Look into Peaq network options like Silencio, Natix, and Yom. Pick what fits best with your daily routine.
