What Side Hustle Could Help Me Make $2-3k a Month Quickly with Potential to Scale?

Hey everyone! I’m looking for some advice on side hustles that can bring in around $2,000 to $3,000 a month relatively quickly, with the option to scale as I go. I’m willing to put serious time into it, and I have a full-time job that covers my bills, so I can also invest a bit to get things rolling.

I’ve watched tons of YouTube videos about side hustles like dropshipping, affiliate marketing, digital products, and freelancing, so I’m familiar with the basics. But with so many options out there, I’m not sure which would realistically hit that income mark quickly, and then have room for growth.

If you’ve had success in this range or know of something that might work, I’d love to hear your insights! Thanks in advance for any advice or recommendations.

If you’ve already researched about all the things you’ve listed, then you can easily start an online business. Incorporating digital products and affiliate products & marketing them is the simplest way to start. Not easy because it requires work to be put in. I mainly sell digital products, and the business model is easily scalable to more than $3k a month. I have made quite a substantial amount myself. Since you have the basics, pick a niche, create or invest in the products, open a business account and promote them. If you’re interested we can have a chat

@Sky
Any tips for a beginner on what kind of digital products to sell?

When you say relatively quickly, how quickly do you want to reach $2-3K/month? I’m currently in a community learning and networking with SEO, affiliate marketers, rank and rent websites (building websites and renting them out to local businesses, lead generation). It’s the Advise community, mainly SEO related strategies and also beginner friendly, good balance of content and asking questions to the pros in the community.

That is nice! Tag the community please? I’d love to be part of this.

Hey! If you’re open to something a bit unconventional, you might want to look into buying and flipping storage units. With some experience, it’s definitely possible to make $2-3k a month, and it’s scalable. I’ve been in this for over 10 years, and the potential is there to turn small investments into real profits.

You can find units with valuable items like furniture, electronics, collectibles, etc., that you can flip locally or online. It’s hands-on and requires some initial research, but it’s a unique and rewarding way to build extra income. Plus, every unit has a “treasure hunt” vibe, which keeps it exciting!

I’ve been doing this off and on for 2 years and I’ve hardly ever made any profit and I always end up with a junk pile. Once in a blue I’ll find something good to flip, and all the good units in my area sell for insanely high prices that make it impossible to flip and make money.

Do you get to keep the storage unit itself? Or just the contents of the unit?

Just the contents lol

How realistic are those TV shows that feature this?

@Peyton
I don’t think the shows are realistic in that they are showing you good units and trying to build drama. I’ve checked a few websites though where you can bid on storage units and it seems doable if you have the time and ability to haul everything out of the unit.

Most of the people on the shows also have a storefront or some other way to sell the items. There is a YouTube channel What the Hales, and they sell some of their items on eBay and others they do a live sale on YouTube.

Create apps or websites using bolt.new. You literally don’t need to learn how to code
