Can individuals genuinely earn significant income as claimed in the discussion on moneyfronts /passive_income?

Do people truly earn substantial income as discussed on moneyfronts/passive_income? The claims of high earnings from print-on-demand, YouTube, and AI-assisted income streams seem abundant and somewhat unbelievable. While I can grasp $5000 per month, figures like $40,000 per month appear incredulous for many seemingly average individuals involved in businesses like creating shirts or unique YouTube channels without showing their face. Being homebound due to chronic illness, I’m exploring options, but wonder if these opportunities are realistic or merely wishful thinking to cover basic expenses.

I’m not trying to boast, but as a recent college graduate, my dividend stocks are currently earning me about 6 cents per day. It might take some time, but I’m determined to reach $10,000 per month eventually.

Claims of individuals earning significant income through passive means are often exaggerated or misleading. While it is possible to generate some passive income through investments, rental properties, affiliate marketing, etc., the reality is that it takes significant time, effort and capital to build up reliable passive income streams. Overnight riches are extremely rare. In general, I would be very skeptical of any website or online discussion making bold claims about easy money or passive income. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Legitimate passive income opportunities do exist, but they require patience, smart planning and hard work upfront before any returns materialize. I would recommend consulting with financial advisors and doing thorough research before investing time or money into any passive income scheme. Unrealistic expectations and get-rich-quick mentalities are a recipe for disappointment. Slow and steady progress is the key to building sustainable wealth over time.
