I have 30k I can use without affecting my savings or emergency cash. I’ve been saving well and living within my means, so I might save another 30k in a couple of years. My retirement investment through my job is maxed out too. I’m not good at investing or day trading and prefer to spend my free time with my toddler instead of being on my phone. Any suggestions?
This forum doesn’t provide much help with personal finance. A lot of one-liner replies without enough info. You should check out a forum with a good flowchart for your situation. Index funds are fine, but make sure to diversify. Consider options like renewable energy, ETFs, and stocks. If you’re willing to take some risks, think about putting 20% of your funds into investments and keeping 80% in reserve. Always be cautious for long-term success.

The relaxed approach is to invest in index fund ETFs like the S&P 500. You’ll probably do better than most active investors with just 1% of the effort.
Buy SUI for a possible 10X return. Thank me later.
Hire a professional gambler to double it.
How about Russian roulette?
Honestly, I dislike these kinds of posts. The planet is in trouble. Spend some on yourself like you plan to, then donate or invest in something positive for the world.
