I want to start a real estate investing thing but I’m looking for at least 10 people to help me. How would y’all suggest I go about doing that?
I tried stocks and options but I think it’s time to do something new.

Definitely don’t show them your post history on r/wallstreetbets, because not sure that really invokes confidence that you’d know what you’re doing.

I wanna do something new with my money. lol
Why would I invest in you? What do you know about real estate? Previous experience? Do you have a network? What are you doing better than other people in your branch? Can I trust you? How much money will I make?
@Vic
I know nothing about it but trying something new. Sometimes not knowing is as important as knowing.
Do you have any success or experience in real estate investing already?
Ask yourself why investors would trust you with thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars.
More likely, you should go find a group that you can just give them money and they handle it. Maybe you can find a group that you can give each payday a few hundred bucks i.e., buy in slowly unless you’ve got a jump sum of cash to buy in at a major share.
@Harley
This is the poor’s 9 to 5 job dude mentality.

No, I wanna be rich. I wanna start off in real estate and develop other businesses from there.

Uh, you don’t start out by being a professional athlete first and get rich then decide what else you are going to do.
You offer nothing to an investor. They don’t need you. All you have is a dream. A dream is worthless.
That hawk tuah girl got a bunch of investors.
First off you gotta figure out your pitch, right? Like, what’s gonna make people wanna throw money into this? Investors wanna know what they’re getting into, like what’s the plan—flipping houses, rentals, whatever—and how they’re gonna get their money back. Once you’ve got that kinda figured out, here’s some ways to start finding people.
Start with folks you know—friends, family, coworkers, anyone who’s got a little cash laying around. Just make it clear you’re not asking for a favor, it’s like a real business thing, so they know you’re serious. Then you can hit up local real estate meetups or those networking events where people who are already kinda into this stuff hang out; those are good spots to meet people who might already wanna invest or learn about it.
Also, social media, man—like, post about your plans on LinkedIn or Instagram or whatever, especially if you’ve done anything in real estate before. It helps you look legit and like, gets people curious about what you’re doing. You could even check out crowdfunding sites like Fundrise or RealtyMogul if you’re tryna pull together smaller investments, but make sure you read up on the legal stuff ‘cause the SEC doesn’t mess around.
If you wanna go bigger, private lenders or hard money lenders might work, but they’ll want you to have your plan pretty locked down, like something polished, y’know? It’s all about being upfront, having a decent plan, and just putting yourself out there ‘til you find the right people. It’s not easy, but once you get a couple folks in, more tend to follow. Good luck, dude.
@Vann
Thank you, I appreciate the information. I never did anything in real estate, but I think it’s time. Maybe I’m gonna do one on my own then use that to get more investors.
