I take it you’ve never sold anything of yours on Facebook.
You genuinely think that this is what the OP was referring to?

OP hasn’t done any research about online ideas.
OP wants something easy and fast handed to him.
A lot of people think there’s a golden goose out there that no one is telling them about.
When it comes to online ideas, do you think OP doesn’t know that what brings money is knowing how to make websites, online editing, videos, streaming, content, e-commerce?
Of course, he knows. We all know what makes money online. But it’s hard work and time-consuming.
@Briley
The name of the chat is Passive Income. Not how to make money, Not how to live like a king, Not get rich quick. You seem to be assuming an awful lot about what the OP wants but didn’t say. By definition, passive income should be something that does not require a lot of effort. No one said it would be a full-time income. The OP asked for suggestions of legit ways to make money on side hustles, etc. How do you jump to “He’s not making the effort”?
@Jules
Look at OP’s post history and you’ll understand.

You’re not refuting the previous commenter’s point, you’re underscoring it.
You’re saying OP knows how to work in an online environment to make money and doesn’t want to do that work. This makes you feel a certain amount of contempt for OP. Okay, that is what it is.
But this sub isn’t “r/WorkOnline”. “Passive Income” is income you DON’T have to work to generate (ideally) or at least, work you can set up and grow and then step away from and continue drawing an income, like setting up a business.
Video editing and all those other things that were listed, none of that generates passive income. The moment you stop working, you stop getting paid.
@Jules
So, the OP asked a question in a specialised subreddit which aligns with their needs. I’d say death penalty.

No. OP asked the same question in different forms over a million times in various specialised subreddits.
If you’d be in all of them, you’d see his username showing up pretty often always asking the same questions about how to make money online.
Like there’s some secret that no one is telling him about and he keeps pushing it to find it.
There is no easy and fast way of making money online. He’s looking for the goose with the golden eggs.
@Briley
So why are you wasting time and effort to be the self-proclaimed defender of the thread? Just block and move on if it irritates you.

Honestly…
I made thousands on DataAnnotation.
It’s a Myth. It’s a big big Myth.
I started doing Dropshipping 2 years back, and it’s started working fine.
But…
Well it’s still working really good.

What kind of products?
It’s real but Instagram puts a lot of roadblocks up so masses will be deterred.
Yes, of course you can make money online. Just look at Salesforce, Etsy, etc.
Can you generate passive income online? Well, as the comments under this post clearly demonstrate, passive income is such a unicorn most of the people on this sub consider self-employment “passive income,” which is the literal opposite of what passive income is.
There are different ways to make money online, and one of which is joining airdrop hunters to farm airdrops; the likes of Boinkers, Blum, and several others are good options.
I made a blog about this a few days ago.
Lots of people who do. The best skill is being a great marketer though. Which is why a lot of cannot emulate what other people do to make a bunch of money. It’s also slow to set up. I make 9.5 k a month revenue on rental properties. It took me 8 years to get there though and sacrificed a lot.
In short, is it quick and easy? No. Is it possible? Absolutely!
Very real. Check out r/EarnExtraIncome.
ATTAPOLL I made a few dollars with it, just be consistent.
