I’ve been trying out ElevenLabs for over a week now and I was surprised at how much I earned during this time. Just to clarify: I got my voice on ElevenLabs in my native Dutch language, which I don’t find very appealing.
In my first week on ElevenLabs, I earned around $19 without doing anything. This is surprising since my voice isn’t the best. I changed some settings to earn more, like setting the notice period to 2 years instead of 90 days.
I also found out that I was added as a High Quality voice in the ElevenLabs library along with three other Dutch voices. This means I can earn even more using the ElevenReader app for reading books and files. I’m even thinking about adding another voice to boost my earnings! What do you suggest? Maybe an English voice with a Dutch accent would be fun haha Let me know your thoughts and feel free to ask any questions!

You won’t be paid a percentage of your crypto for simply “testing” or sending crypto to an address on any blockchain. This includes IOST, EOS, and TON, etc.
So you basically sold rights to your own voice? I guess that’s fine if you’re okay with that, but I would find it pretty upsetting to hear AI stuff with my voice everywhere.

Yeah, I did. I used a fake name to keep my identity private, and I don’t tell my close friends or family about this. I totally get where you’re coming from, though! I’ve heard many positive stories here and in other forums where people used their voices to help train the model. There’s even a protection setting for my voice, which is meant to keep it safe for these situations, but I’m not so sure how well that actually works lol.
ElevenLabs is a platform where you can clone your voice so others can use it and you can earn passive income. You’ll need a subscription (here’s my link for a 50% discount) for the Creator program to upload your voice to their library. After that, you can drop down to the $5 per month plan and still earn money from others using your voice. You won’t be able to use your own voice on the lower plan, though.
Yeah, I didn’t get it at first but decided to try it out anyway since it’s only $11. If it didn’t work out, I would’ve just lost 11 dollars.
But you can earn that back pretty quickly, even in a week or so, and then use it to cover your subscription fees. Plus, you can always downgrade to the lower membership to keep earning!

Hey, you need to earn a high quality badge on your voice to unlock a second voice. I recorded my voice for about 30 minutes in Dutch using my smartphone and processed it with Adobe Podcast. But you’re correct. Usually, you only get one voice slot.
